Stand up paddleboarding (SUP) is one of the fastest growing sports in the country. It evolved out of ocean wave surfing but adding a paddle helps to increase mobility and balance while allowing you to explore anything from lakes to rivers to oceans. The unique vantage point allows you to see more of the horizon as well as what’s below you in the water. You will be surprised by how easy it is to maneuver and how quickly you pick up this new skill.

- Restrictions: You must be 12 years old to have your own paddle board. Children under the age of 12 can ride with an adult for $15.
- Trip Includes: PFD, paddle, paddle board
- Things to bring: Swimsuit, watershoes, sunscreen, drinking water
- Post trip: Towel, change of clothes, plastic bag for wet clothes
Description
This trip takes place on one of the many lakes near the Peshtigo River Outpost. Swimming is always an option so come prepared. The trip will begin with your guide fitting you with the proper gear including a PFD, paddle, and a stand-up paddleboard. Class will then be in session as you learn new skills and find your balance on the board (this part is surprisingly easy). Once you’re comfortable, you can begin to explore what is both in and around the lake. Your guide is there to educate you on the surrounding area, make sure you are safe, and having a good time. Maybe you’d like to try some games, do some yoga, swim around, or just soak up the sun! No matter what option you choose you will absolutely have a great time.
Due to the nature of this trip, we can only accommodate six guests at a time. If you have a larger group you might consider the kayak lake tour.
