Peshtigo River Cabin Rentals & Camping

Yes! Several of our deluxe cabins and rustic cabins at the Peshtigo River Outpost sit directly along one of the most beautiful stretches of river in Wisconsin’s Northwoods. For a true riverfront cabin experience, check out the Ponderosa and Chalet. Guests fall asleep to the sound of the rapids and wake up just steps from the riverbank, making this a true riverfront cabin rental experience. Even the cabins that are not directly on the river have easy access to the Peshtigo River just a short walk away!

Our cabins range in size to accommodate different group needs:

• The Peshtigo Lodge sleeps up to 15

• The Chalet sleeps up to 13

• Pineview and Ponderosa each sleep up to 8

• Hideaway sleeps up to 6

We’re located in northeastern Wisconsin, offering a quieter, more nature-focused alternative to busier destinations. Guests who want a true Northwoods experience often choose Wildman for its riverfront setting, outdoor adventures, and relaxed pace.

All the cabins and glamping units at the Peshtigo River Outpost are located right along the Peshtigo River in Silver Cliff, Wisconsin, about 30 minutes from Crivitz. Most guests lodge at the Peshtigo River Outpost but participate in adventures at both of our locations during their stay.

Pets are not allowed in our cabins. We recommend using a local boarding facility or a pet-sitting service like Rover so you can fully enjoy your stay.

All guests lodging at the Peshtigo River Outpost have access to:

• Covered pavilion

• Direct river access

• Access to on-site camp store with snacks, firewood, and retail items

Guests staying in deluxe cabins have a full kitchen, bathroom, and charcoal grill in addition to the amenities listed above.

Deluxe cabins have private bathrooms, separate bedrooms, and a full kitchen. Rustic cabins and glamping units have no kitchen, and use the campground shower house for hot showers and flush toilets. All lodging styles have a private firepit and picnic table.
