Kick back, relax and enjoy the beauty of the Northwoods from the seat of a recreational kayak. The Wildman Adventure Resort kayak tour takes you to the serene High Falls flowage, where adventure and beauty come together. The High Falls flowage is surrounded by almost 10,000 acres of wild lands that are open to the public and are yours to explore. The tannin stained water, granite outcroppings and islands, and forested shores exhibit the epitome of the Northwoods.

Description
During your 2-3 hour kayaking tour, be prepared for spectacular wildlife sightings including encounters with bald eagles, great blue herons, loons, a variety of ducks, sand hill cranes, turkey vultures, whitetail deer, black bear, and river otters just to name a few. Your trip will take you on a paddling voyage where you will be exploring the open water, the shorelines, and even wild islands. Those that live life on the edge might choose the optional end of trip cliff jump!
Your guide will handle all your equipment and transportation. All you need to do is show up.
Peshtigo River Outpost
You'll be starting your trip at the Peshtigo River Outpost in Silver Cliff, WI. From there, your guides will shuttle you out to High Falls Flowage, a beautiful flatwater area on the Peshtigo River.

Yes! We have 2 tandem kayaks. These are great for younger kids to paddle in the same kayak as a parent, or just for two people who’d like to share paddling responsibility!
The Northwoods of Wisconsin is FULL of wildlife, and kayaking is a great way to see flora and fauna up close. We frequently spot bald eagles and great blue herons. The Northwoods is also home to river otters, black bear, and mink, which can occasionally be spotted as well!
