The best whitewater rafting in the state of Michigan just so happens to be right on the border. Whitewater rafting on the Menominee River will allow you to experience the best and biggest whitewater in the Midwest, especially during the summer months! The dam-controlled flows mean great rapids all season, from May to September.

You’ll be in a group raft with a professional guide in the back, working as a team to take on class 2-4 rapids in Piers Gorge State Park. Wildman provides all your safety gear, instruction, and a guide, making this trip perfect for first-time rafters and experienced adventurers alike. What better way to experience the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan than from the river itself?

 

Come in for the day or plan to stay a few nights. Wildman Adventure Resort has plenty of lodging options including riverside campsites and cabins. While you’re here you can enjoy all of our other outdoor adventures as well. Start your morning off with some intense paintball action and finish your day with some class IV rapids on the Menominee River. We’ve got you covered the next day as well with the option to rock climb, stand up paddleboard, or relax on the kayak lake tour.
